Molusk cité sur le site du plugin Shopp pour WordPress
Molusk est mis en avant dans le Showcase (la galerie) du plugin e-commerce Shopp (pour WordPress), qui fait tourner notre boutique en ligne. J’ai personnellement contribué à traduire le plugin en français, et j’ai développé l’intégration au site.
Molusk is a French brand that sells contemporary jewelry. I’d been wanting to add an ecommerce store to my WordPress portfolio for about a year. Magento and Prestashop were too complicated to sell a small number of products, and not integrated to WordPress. I found Shopp, as an affordable solution, and although I’m not a web designer, and don’t speak english very well, I’ve succeed in what I wanted to do. The support is very good. On my website, Shopp is used on a separate online shopping section, and is fully integrated with the original design. The most difficult part was to design the product pages, with large pictures and thumbnails, to focus on details. I’ve also used shopp products tags to sort jewels by colors, and I’ve also included a customed random sidebar widget, with my own PHP code. It allows me to see products everywhere on the website. Now, WordPress is a powerfull CMS for me! And it’s very easy to add new products when the template is finished. An English version of this website will be coming soon.
